I started making origami when I was 5, and continued to do so throughout my teens. While studying Interior Architecture at Curtin University in Perth I utilised my knowledge of the craft to investigate how a construction medium and its method can dictate design.
In the beginning the concept of my designs was to use the standard white sheet of square paper. This has since evolved to include a number of mediums. I have however tried to stay as true to the original laws of origami and practise no cutting or gluing of pieces.
I am currently developing my craft and applying my knowledge to larger scale modular pieces. I also still dabble in Interior Architecture and being a mother of a 6 year old and 3 French Bulldogs means I am always utilising my Project Management skills.
